Corporate social responsability
At Airfal, we place our efforts to make aware our team of all aspects that have to do with the environment, therefore, communication in this direction is continuous.
Airfal is affiliated to Ecolum, an association that guarantees the adequate management of wasted electrical and electronic equipment, with regular collection in our facilities.
Also, the first steps of the Plan denominated “Paper 0” have been taken with measures like the sending of payrolls and invoices by electronic mail, among others. For many years, Airfal has been recycling paper, which is reused and sent to cardboard companies.
In relation to energy efficiency, Airfal has carried out several studies of energy consultancy, and has put in place a plan that has reduced the bill notably with the energy savings that this entails.
At Airfal there is a great social awareness since its beginnings. Our team is aware of the issues that our society is facing, and we intend to make the world a little better. For that reason, Airfal has decided to focus its efforts on the labor insertion of people with intellectual disabilities.
When the company was born more than 30 years ago, it began working with the José Luis Zazurca Foundation, which was sent raw and semi-finished materials for the assembly of the simplest Airfal luminaires. At present, it works with 10 occupational workshops of different foundations and has a workshop in its own facilities. This activity is a great therapy for the people involved, managing to give them normality in their daily lives, with a possible insertion in the world of work. Two workers of the Rey Ardid Occupational Workshop have become part of our workforce.
The last great milestone of Airfal has been the opening of an employment enclave also in the facilities of the company, in which workers of the Picarral Foundation develop their professional aptitudes and are prepared to the world of work with the most real and rigorous knowledge.
In addition to all these commitments, Airfal donates 2% of its annual profits to Atades Huesca, whose main objective is to promote, encourage and support all kinds of actions aimed at improving the quality of life of people with intellectual disabilities .
The main objective of a company is to obtain profits, and for that reason, it needs to remain competitive in terms of productivity and to become economically profitable. It is for this reason that the company must manage its assets at its disposal in a way that can get the most out of it.
Undoubtedly, the best asset that Airfal has is its team, and to take care of it, the company carries out policies aimed at their well-being, so it bets on the reconciliation of work and personal life, with working hours from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. from Monday to Thursday and from 8 to 3 .p.m on Fridays all year round and during three months in the summer.
At the salary level, there is the plan of “No less than 1,600 € /month” by which no one who has more than one year in the company will be paid less per month. In addition, Airfal offers transportation to the company for the team.
Communication is basic for all interest groups and therefore is constant.
At the internal level, monthly bulletins are published, and the staff is being informed of the most relevant aspects that occurred during the month, as well as the communication of the objectives, strategies and plans that are carried out.
On the other hand, when there are vacancies within the company, an internal selection process is opened in which candidates can be submitted that are valued by management.
