STARTING POINT

Ports Division of our Customer, a leading European infrastructure and transportation group with over 300 years of history with operations in several ports, had an investment plan in place to change its existing infrastructures and develop new ones in the ports where it operates. Top priority within this investment plan was to act in different port terminals handling miscellaneous bulk solids, where specific lighting systems were needed for ATEX zone operations, including highly aggressive environments with much dust suspended in the air.

Safe operation (Customer’s strategic target) on existing facilities was the main objective, together with an increase of its efficiency and competitiveness.
